I am shocked at the coincidence in that last post that I made on facebook and the headline that I read only 10 minutes later. I had just finished telling friends and family that it felt great that the family and I had decided to never shop at a Walmart store ever again when I went to the Las Vegas Review Journal website and saw that there will be a supercenter built less than 3 miles from my home.
There are enough Walmarts in Las Vegas and no need for another supercenter. My family and I decided not to shop at Walmart stores for many reasons. However, the most important reasons are that they do not confirm that animals brought into the store are truly service animals (My daughter was attacked by a dog at the Arroyo Crossing Walmart and even after the attack, no employee or manager confirmed that the animal was a service dog. In addition, the managers didn't care.) and service is horrible, lines are long, and it disgusts me that Mom and Pop stores are being run out of business. I will contacting my representatives in an attempt to help stop this, and will continue to contact them to remind those who support it that this monster is killing small businesses!
