DETAILED ECONOMIC REPORT 12-12-12

As you saw in the last post, the local forecast looks great.  However, we still have a long way to go to recovery.  The following information gives a much more detailed analysis of our current economic state.

In a nutshell, our economic forecast is very positive.  Employment is up this quarter vs. prior quarter and up this year vs. prior year.  However, new entity filings were down this quarter/year vs. prior quarter year.  The total number  of new entity filings during the third quarter of 2012 was 13,081 which was an 8.4% decline.  Last but certainly not least, unemployment was down from 11.9 to 11.1.
