LAS VEGAS GETS BOOST FROM OUTSIDE!
According to Howard Stutz with the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Las Vegas has had a boost as a result of taking what was created on the Strip to other markets and bringing the profits home. Stutz explains that according to Bo Bernard, executive director of the International Gaming Institute at UNLV, "by sending that knowledge to other markets which have certainly been successful, this in turn created jobs in las vegas by making Las Vegas the corporate headquarters for the gaming industry."
This is great for Las Vegas. Although construction of new gaming projects came to a halt a year or two ago, it isn't necessarily a bad thing! Ok corporations....keep bringin' the big bucks home!
